About Gymspace

Gymspace is a side project I developed for a boutique gym located in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. This website showcases my ability to create a modern, user-friendly interface for local businesses while integrating complex functionalities.

The design emphasizes Gymspace's core value of personal attention, reflected in their slogan 'Personal attention for maximum results'. The website allows users to explore different training options, from one-on-one sessions to group classes and self-guided workouts. I implemented a clean, visually appealing layout that highlights the gym's facilities and team of specialists.

Key Features:

• Built with Next.js and TypeScript for optimal performance and type safety.
• Styled using TailwindCSS for a responsive and clean design.
• Content management through Sanity.io, allowing easy updates for the gym staff.
• Multilingual support (Dutch and English).
• Integration with Virtuagym for handling subscriptions externally.

The site's color scheme, featuring a muted green, creates a calming yet energizing atmosphere that aligns with the gym's boutique status.
